Land of the Lions - London Zoo

Creative direction and interpretation for the immersive Indian lion experience at ZSL London Zoo, opened by HM The Queen in 2016. I was heavily involved at every stage of this epic project, from planning the physical space with the architects, to running workshops with the London Gujarati community, researching and writing the exhibition story, commissioning theme-workers, artists and interactive makers, and sourcing and positioning every last prop. We upcycled old buildings and went on a Mumbai prop-shopping spree to create an Indian village in the heart of London.
