Museum of the Viking Age, Oslo

Opening 2027

Digital, AV, and interactive interpretation

The new Museum of the Viking Age in Oslo will bring together three of the world's best-preserved Viking ships and thousands of artefacts in a major new museum on Oslo's Bygdøy peninsula. The 13,000m² museum is being developed by the University of Oslo, with Ralph Appelbaum Associates (RAA) and Tamschick Media+Space leading the exhibition design.

I am working with amazing writer Paul Tourle and the wider project team to write the text for the museum's digital, AV and interactive experiences.

Working closely with curators, archaeologists, Viking specialists and UX designers, we've been finding different ways into the museum's stories, creating engaging experiences that complement the main exhibition rather than just repeat it.
